No matter if you are leading a team for the first time or looking to improve your management skills, this course will equip you with the practical skills and techniques to become a more effective leader.
In my own journey on the same path, I came up with the idea for this course. I never dreamed that my work in a start-up would have such an impact and that 2 years later I would be leading a team of 15. The transition was organic, yet difficult for me. Despite that, I believe I made all the mistakes in the book during the transition without proper training, coaching, and mentoring by my side.
I was also inspired by Jacob Morgan's research work. In order to gain insight into how leadership is evolving and what it will look like in the future, he conducted a survey among 140 CEOs from around the world. The research revealed that traditional leadership methods will no longer be effective in the future. There is a need for a new type of leader, one that is adaptable and open to new ideas, not just focused on confidence, seniority, or profit.
According to the research, many leaders admitted that they did not receive formal leadership training until well into their careers. It underscores the importance of providing leadership training to individuals early in their careers to ensure effective leadership.
It is a pleasure to have you on board and I look forward to sharing more of my own transition and helping you become a successful manager.
